Visual and interaction design
Lead designer on Citi Self Invest and Citi Wealth Builder, from sketches and wireframes to high-fidelity comps, prototypes and launch, on mobile and web.
Systems and accessibility
Built and governed design systems at Citi and CereHive: type scales, colour, spacing and components, with accessibility built in to WCAG standards.
Analysis and strategy
Started as an analyst in capital management at Bank of America, with an economics degree from Penn and an MSc in Management and Technological Change from King's. I ground design decisions in data and business strategy.

Profile
Senior product designer focused on visual and interaction design for consumer mobile and web products. Born and raised in Istanbul, with ten years in New York and two in London, I design with cultural context in mind and work natively in Turkish and English.
At Citibank I led design for investing products from sketches and wireframes through high-fidelity comps and interactive prototypes to launch, and maintained the design system that kept them consistent and accessible. I work through a design thinking process built on the Double Diamond: research and define the right problem first, then explore, prototype and test solutions before delivering. I move easily between concurrent projects, prototype quickly with AI coding tools, and hold an MSc with Distinction from King's Business School.

Miiras, remoteMay 2026 – PresentDesigning and validating a platform that helps families start difficult conversations about money, inheritance, and plans for illness or accidents.
- Designed the end-to-end experience, from information architecture and interaction flows to high-fidelity screens, and built it as an interactive prototype with AI-assisted coding tools.
- Designed and launched the waitlist site, giving a sensitive subject a calm, approachable visual tone through type, colour and layout.
- Ran concept tests and 3 rounds of usability testing (5 participants each), refining flows and screens between rounds to raise task completion from 30% to 50%.

Senior Product Designer
CereHive, remoteFeb 2025 – Apr 2026First design hire on an AI-native B2B SaaS recruiting platform that helps hiring teams find and screen candidates faster with AI match scores.
- Designed the MVP from recruiter research through journeys, wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes; it launched to 12 SMB and mid-market clients and $300K ARR.
- Redesigned onboarding and the core information architecture, clarifying layout and visual hierarchy across key screens and roughly halving onboarding time and support requests.
- Built and governed the Figma design system (type scale, colour, spacing and components).

Senior Product Designer, Wealth
Citibank, New YorkJun 2021 – Jun 2024Lead designer for Citi Self Invest (self-directed investing) and Citi Wealth Builder (Citi's first robo-advisory product) across mobile and web.
- Led the end-to-end redesign of Citi Self Invest, which drove 70,000+ new accounts and a 15% increase in customer satisfaction, and contributed to AUM growth of over $2.2B.
- Designed Citi Wealth Builder from zero to one, creating onboarding, suitability and funding journeys. Launched with 500+ accounts and $8M+ AUM, with onboarding completion held at 78%.
- Designed the Fund Screener, lifting search-to-selection conversion from 10% to 40%, with 30% of Self Invest users adopting it within 3 months.
- Partnered with Compliance and Legal on disclosure content design, maintained the wealth design system and component library, and mentored and managed designers on the team.

Analyst, Enterprise Capital Management
Bank of America, New YorkJan 2016 – Jan 2020My first product work: I mapped a manual capital management process end to end, found where data and handoffs broke down, and worked with engineers to redesign it as an automated reporting tool, cutting the cycle from 10 days to 3 with zero restatements across 48 submissions.
